They are of New World origin, and are obligate brood parasites, laying their eggs in the nests of other species (from Wiki).  Name stamp Ron Sauey Memorial Library on rear endpaper and the top page edge, plain pocket on the rear endpaper, no other ownership marks to the text or cloth binding.  Ron Sauey was co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, Wisconsin.
