Pre-Earthquake Intertidal Ecology of Three Saints Bay, Kodiak Island, Alaska

An interesting ecological survey of Kodiak Island and surrounding areas undertaken in 1963 before the 1964 Alaska earthquake. That earthquake caused the island to subside 2-5 feet dramatically altering its coastline. Single oval ink stamp of the Zoological Institute in Upsala, Sweden on the front and rear wrapper, no other ownership marks and no signs of use.
