Pp. viii, 120; 38 full page plates (16 in color by 8-color offset lithography and 22 in collotype monochrome reproduction).  Publisher's half orange cloth over marbled boards by Mansell of London, folio (19.5 x 13.75 inches).  Limited edition of 2000 copies (of 2,295 total).  The first 295 copies were issued in signed limited edition in a leather binding.  The edition offered here is limited to 2000 copies is not signed or numbered.  This important reference source documents the most important and lavishly produced bird books published between 1700 and 1900.  No ownership marks.  It has superb color plates.  No ownership marks.
